This Wheelchair Guide has been compiled by Noel Cassidy,who has worked for the past three and a half years for an major Approved Repairer gaining experience of all aspects of the business.
The guide covers a number of Non Powered wheelchairs available on the NHS(see list in left hand column) and is intended primarily for use as a training aid for all new staff entering this field including Wheelchair Service Administration staff,Approved Repairer staff and anyone interested in the rehabilitation field. It may also be useful for existing staff as a reference tool including Therapists.

At the rear of each specification sheet,the reader can make notes on the suitability of wheelchairs for particular clients together with details of prices or other information which may be relevant. Most of the models listed in this guide are included on the NHS National purchase agreement for the supply of Non Powered wheelchairs.
